Best tourist attractions in Kerry

Ring of Kerry
A visit to Kerry is all about the scenery! This stunning looped 179-kilometre drive along the Iveragh Peninsula takes in the major towns of Killarney, Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville, Sneem and Kenmare and arrives back in Killarney. Areas of interest along the way include Derrynane House (the home of Daniel O’Connell), The Gap of Dunloe, Rossbeigh Beach, Torc Waterfall and Skellig Michael.

Killarney National Park
Killarney National Park is a 26,000-acre park that is a sight for sore eyes. The park has a variety of nature trails where you will discover Muckross House, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Killarney House and Gardens, Knockreer House, Molls Gap and Ladies View. And if you’re fortunate, you might spot a wild red deer or two! The park was designated as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1981.

Dingle Peninsula
Why not take a trip along the fantastic Dingle Peninsula and witness the miles of beaches, cliffs and islands? This stunning scenery formed the backdrop for the movie Ryan’s Daughter. Along the way, watch for Funghi the Dolphin, The Blasket Islands and, of course, the harbour town of Dingle itself. Often called An Daingean, Dingle lies within a Gaeltacht region.
